In 2018, I received my Masters in Business Administration from Kennesaw State University, an AACSB accredited school. Prior to this accomplishment, I graduated magna cum laude from Southern Polytechnic State University with a bachelors in New Media Arts. This degree requires an extensive appreciation and understanding of the fine arts, carrying those principles over to graphic design, digital photography, cinematography, and web development. As a new media artist and MBA, I utilize different forms of media to express concepts and promote business growth.
Back in 2014, I co-founded Maker Motorsports; an ebay store dedicated to providing high quality DIY products to Volvo and Ford owners. The custom designed car parts were 3D printed for mass production. In the first year, we went international with sales to nine countries in four different continents. By 2016, demand exceeded our production capabilities and we transitioned our storefront to ShapeWays for handling all production and distribution.
When I do find spare time, most of it is consumed by turning wrenches, making custom car parts, and capturing footage for instructional automotive video series. My screen name, MyNameIdeasWereTaken, has gained international recognition for both my unique projects and photography. Though my passion for cars is a bit of an obsession, my videos are watched by millions and have turned into a source of revenue - funding future projects and video content.
